Hear it for real
Fix it where you hear it
Studio monitors flatter a mix. Change the master where people will hear it.
In the car
Plug in over CarPlay or AUX and shape the low end in your parked car — where most tracks get played.
On AirPods
Check sibilance, the top end and the stereo image on the headphones everyone uses.
On the phone speaker
Flip to Mono and hear whether the kick and the vocal survive the smallest speaker.

FAQ
Questions
Does it upload my music?
No. Everything runs on your iPhone. Your tracks never leave the device, and the app works offline.
Will the numbers work in my DAW?
Yes. The recipe lists every EQ move with its frequency, gain and Q, how much the compressor and the limiter take, and the loudness and true peak you should land on. Rebuild the master with your own plugins, then check it by ear and by meter.
What can I export?
WAV at 16 or 24 bits or 32-bit float, AAC at 256 kbps or gapless MP3 at 320 kbps — straight to Files, AirDrop or your messenger. The export shows the loudness and true peak of the file itself.
How does the free trial work?
You start the 3-day trial in the app when you're ready; nothing is charged. When it ends, the chain, export and recipe stop working until you unlock the full version for $25, once, with no subscription. Listening and the meters stay free.
Can I use Bluetooth headphones?
Yes. Wireless audio arrives 150–250 ms late and is compressed on the way, so it's fine for balance and loudness; judge the top end and the timing on wired headphones. The app tells you when you're listening over the air.
Is there an iPad or Android version?
Mastering Chain is made for iPhone. There's no Android version for now.
